Santo Domingo Motors is Grupo Ambar’s founding company. It was founded on September 12, 1920, to represent General Motor’s vehicle brand of Chevrolet.
Currently, it has the distribution of Nissan, Chevrolet, Cadillac, Suzuki and Infiniti vehicles brands, and Yamaha motorcycles. We also offer spare parts and after-sales services.
In addition, Santo Domingo Motors sells various tire brands such as Toyo, Cooper, Jinyu, Armor and Chengshan; batteries such as AC Delco and Megavolt, and Thule vehicle accessories. The company has a distribution network made up of three of its own operating dealers and independent dealers.
Founded in 1969, Motor Plan operates as a franchise of National Car Rental since 1974, Alamo Rent A Car starting in 2002 and Enterprise Rent-A-Car from 2018.
Motor Crédito, Banco de Ahorro y Crédito, offers financing alternatives for the acquisition of both new and used vehicles through the customers’ preferred dealers. It also provides financing for the acquisition of heavy equipment for agriculture and construction as well as power generators and motorcycles.
Established in 2017 as an insurance broker, PreviSeguros focuses on automobile insurance. The company was established with the objective of offering customers a comprehensive experience when buying a car.
Ágora Mall is located at the intersection of the two main avenues of the city of Santo Domingo, John F. Kennedy and Abraham Lincoln. It is one of the shopping centers with the most important influx of people in the country. It was inaugurated in August 2012 and has 120 thousand m2 of construction, four commercial levels with 180 stores and 40 thousand m2 of GLA and 1,800 covered parking spaces.
The opening of the project is scheduled for 2024 and will be located at the intersection of the two main avenues of the city of Santiago, Estrella Sadhalá and Juan Pablo Duarte, 20 minutes away from the Cibao International Airport and 1 hour away from the Puerto Plata International Airport.
